We offer same day and/or walk-in appointments for injured workers. A short wait may be required for walk-in appointments, but please be assured our team will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.
We have plenty of free, onsite parking available. We are also a short walk from Gladstone railway station and the city loop bus lines 500 and 501 both have stops a short distance from our clinic.
We provide one allocated disabled car park which is located in front of our access ramp. Our ramp is situated on the right side of our building and provides easy access to our clinic. Additional parks are located in front of our clinic door.

Appointment times are approximately 10 minutes – please tell the reception staff if you require a longer appointment time.
Every effort is made to attend to walk in patients with an urgent matter. However in some instances, it will be requested that you make an appointment at a later date and time to accommodate your needs.

We take concerns, suggestions and complaints very seriously and will deal with any matters that come to us. All complaints will be followed up and in writing if requested.

Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone is a private billing practice. All consultations are to be paid for on the day. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Eftpos. The practice bulk bills children under 16 and concession holders at the doctor’s discretion. Should you be eligible, please bring your Medicare Card, Concession Card or Veterans Affairs card to each consult. Medical record requests have a fee attached.
Our medical team at Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone have worked at the clinic for over 3 years and has extensive medical experience and knowledge within their field. Our team works together to deliver a combined passion for quality healthcare.
Dr Siddiqui joined Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone in January 2018, having worked in General Practice for over 13 years. Dr Siddiqui holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (2005) and Master’s Degree in Public health (2010). He is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (2015).
Dr Siddiqui has worked across Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland since arriving from Africa in 2013. His areas of special interest are occupational health, skin cancer treatment, mental health and emergency medicine.
Debbi, a Gladstone local, has a background of 32 years in pathology where she worked as a laboratory technician in the biochemistry, haematology and microbiology departments. She has many years' experience performing onsite drug and alcohol testing and is also certified in phlebotomy.
As a medical screener, Debbi conducts the initial collection of general patient information, performs TSANZ spirometry, Occ Health Noise Assessments and various other assessments, to assist the doctors prior to each patient’s medical assessments.
Joan has worked in Healthcare Management, both in NZ and Australia for over 20 years. She enjoys working with a team, inspiring people to do their best and providing a high level of customer service. Joan is proud of her team at Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone and endeavours to provide a professional, happy and friendly experience during your visit to the clinic.
Our frontline administration team consists of – Emmah, Kelly and Taylor. As dedicated administrators of general practice and occupational health, our administration team will be able to assist with any queries you may have, or point you in the right direction. Our administration team works closely with clinical staff to ensure the smooth running of all aspects in the clinic.

Sonic HealthPlus Gladstone is a highly specialised provider of occupational health services. We offer a range of medical services to the business community ranging from pre-employment medicals to highly specialised health surveillance programs.
Having worked in the Gladstone region for such a long time, we’ve become aware of the need for employees to receive medicals that can be shared across worksites.
